The vision of the UAE, previously articulated in Vision 2021 and now evolving, focuses on building a knowledge-based economy, fostering innovation, achieving sustainable development, and enhancing the quality of life for its citizens. The emphasis is on leveraging its strategic advantages and fostering a business-friendly environment to attract global talent and investment.  

While both nations share common goals of economic diversification and regional stability, their approaches are often distinct, reflecting their unique identities and the pathways they have chosen to realize their visions. Saudi Arabia’s large-scale, state-led projects contrast with the UAE’s focus on enhancing existing strengths and attracting foreign expertise.
